One of the best ways to celebrate the heritage of San Joaquin county is to become a member of the San Joaquin County Historical Society. Your membership provides you with opportunities to share your interest in our region’s rich history and to meet with others with similar interests. It also supports the important work of the Historical Society—the preservation of historic artifacts and documents, the development of exhibitions and presentations of special exhibitions and events, the award-winning programs for schoolchildren, the publication of the journal San Joaquin Historian, etc.
Members of the Historical Society receive free regular admission to the Museum and its many exhibits and a waiver of the parking fees upon entering Micke Grove Regional Park. Members receive the Society newsletter and copies of the San Joaquin Historian.
There are a number of Membership levels and annual dues:
